Albemarle Shores is an upscale coastal community located on the Albemarle Sound near Edenton, NC. It enjoys a community area that has a small boat and kayak ramp, a long fishing and crabbing pier, picnic pavilion, and open area for games like horseshoes and cornhole. Our streets are wide and flat, great for walking or biking. Our neighbors, at least the two legged kind, are as friendly or as private as you want them to be. We also have all the wildlife you can enjoy, from Deer and Turkey to Ospreys and Eagles even the occasional Dolphin sighting. This is a great escape from traditional urban and suburban living; but close enough to all the amenities a small town like Edenton, Hertford, and Elizabeth City can offer. Edenton is home to Vidant Chowan Hospital and The Edenton Steamers baseball team. It’s also is the corporate headquarters and manufacturing to Regulator Boats, Albemarle boats and Hampton Farms Peanuts.
